inSpec is for any plumbing professional who wants a quick and easy way to specify Zurn solutions.
To get started, simply create your free account. Check your inbox for a validation email. Then, set up your profile and password to start specifying your next project.
Our portfolio of commercial plumbing products are available in the tool. New products will be added on a regular basis.
You must be a registered user and signed into your account to get started. Once you’re signed in, this button will allow you to specify a project.
A shared project means someone on your team has added you to a project. You must have the same company email domain to share projects. Once added, you can edit, copy, and collaborate on these projects.
If you are registered with a public email domain (e.g., Google, Yahoo, etc.), the sharing function is not available. Please re-register using a non-public email domain, such as your corporate email address.
All projects are confidential. Only colleagues you’ve added or ‘shared’ your projects with can access them.
Yes, our email function allows you to send spec sheets and plumbing schedules to any individual, inside or outside of your company. These people do not need to have your company email domain, like the share function requires.
Projects can be copied for numerous locations or various clients. This will reduce duplicated efforts for projects with similar building types or product configurations.
Go to your project list and select the project you would like to copy. Then, click the copy icon within the blue header. For more information, please view this video.
inSpec provides direct access to additional product information, including specification drawings and other documentation.
You can quickly access your plumbing schedule, spec sheets, BIM files, master spec, and drawing files from one simple screen.
Go to your project list and click the project you would like to edit. Then, click on the edit icon within the blue header. For more information, please view this video.
My basis of design allows you to create an organized list of all the specifications you frequently use for projects. This is an easy way to add those products into your projects as needed.
You can use inSpec on Internet Explorer, but not all functionalities are available within that browser. Things like copy, share and delete are not available. If you would like to use those functionalities, please use the latest version of Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge.
